Try to start run for a second if you press the gas it will stay on until you get off the gas

Possibly an idle air motor for your idle problem or a vacuum hose off.

Lack of.gas getting to carb or tbi. Howes the gas tank vent or fuel.filter? Or even.just lots of water.in gas.

The gas u put I'm the tank was high octain if it was it was making the engine fire to early replace the gas and it should wor properly

are there any codes. sound like a bad throthle position sensor or a idle air control valve

My dodge will do the same if I get some bad gas. Try a bottle of water remover and a bottle of concentrated fuel injector cleaner.

Try this. With the key on and the engine not running push the gas peddle to the floor and release it three times then hold it to the floor until the oil light flashes. This should reset the oil indicator light. It should not take more than about 20 or 30 seconds.Good luck.

I also agree it sounds like a fuel pump issue. Its easiest to remove the box (6 bolts {need impact wrench} disconnect wires at plugs and disconnect gas filler hose) and lift box up. A hoist is easiest but 6 people can lift it easily. The fuel pump can easily then be replaced. Takes about 1 1/2 hrs. to do entire job this way and its so much easier!

have you checked the fuel filter for any dirt in it ??

is it sputtering and if you tap the gas, will it stay running? if so, it is probably a cover on the hose that runs to the air intake it is a part you get at the dealer, or you can use duct tape to cover it and it will work until you get the part.
