My 1991 Lexus LS400 will crank and will drive but will not accelerate at times then it will do somewhat fine on the highway not going over 65mph, in the city it will not pick up and it cuts off when at a complete stop. Once parked I see some coming from the bottom of the car, not the engine part but the part under the seats.

open the hood then look down ont he side that is blown there should be a black rubber boot covering the light look for the wiring then slide the boot back release the sension clasp and pull it out replace and reverse the process to put everything back togather

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY CAR. 93 LS 400. THAT WOULD BE YOUR FUEL FILTER OR THE FUEL PUMP GOING BAD. TRY CHANGING THE FILTER FIRST. THE DEALER TRIED TO CHARGE ME $980 TO CHANGE FUEL PUMP.

Not too bad. Not much room, just enough to drop the starter. It is probably easier to go up through exhaust if you can get your exhaust shield off the manifold .

remove rear seat then remove cover in the trunk, you will see a cover remove thatcover and remove 8 bolts holding fuelpump in tank,also dissconnect connector to fuelpump with bolts removed the pump pulls right out.hope this helps.
