How many belts are under the hood of a 2001 hyunda accent....and wat are the names of the belts?

Under crankshaft pulley.

10 amp fuse #26 powers illumination. See diagrams below.

If the alternator isn't charging the battery the alternator light should be on, (if it has a light) and if it has a guage with a needle-hand, it should be a little on the discharge side. You should check all fuses, there should be some under the dash panel and probably some under the hood. Check also the alternator to make sure the belt is tight-tight. I am not very familiar with this particular car, but if you check these things and still have the problem, you might want to re-post your problem saying you have checked these things and someone will help you.

there are 2 wats to deal with yor ptoblem.1. Go to a dealership and look under the hood at their's.

You should be able to figure it out. The belt has a groved side and a flat side. pullies on the engine that aew groved get the groved side of the belt. Smooth pullies get the smooth side of the delt. Keep in mind there is a smooth polley that does not drive snything. that is the tenser pully, it keeps the belt tight. loop the belt around all th pullirs ftrst then with a wrench push against the tenser pulley spring and push the belt ver it and release.

Thats pretty much it.

on some cars you can find what viscosity it takes by the oil cap. if none present your standard 10w30 works just fine

Drivers side kick panel(down by the hood latch) where your left foot is. There is also one under the hood by the drivers side strut tower. If nobody lost it there should even be a fuse puller in there. On the back of the fuse cover is a diagram that tells you which fuse is which.

LOOK UNDER THE HOOD BY THE RADIOTOR OR INSIDE OF YOURE DOOR PANEL THEIR IS ALMOST ALL WAYS A DIAGRAM OF THE TIMING BELT IT IS RATHER CRUDE LIKE JUST CIRCLES AND LINE WITH ABREVIATIONS TO LET YOU KNOW WHERE THE ALT WATER PUMP ECT .. IS

Your belt broke, either something is wrong with a pulley and caused the belt to brake or the belt was just old and broke on its own. Either way needs a belt put back on then see if anything else is wrong

Is the noise under the hood? or where?

If under the hood, most likely the engine has a bad motor mount. The engine will "twist" slightly to one direction when driving forward and "twist" in the opposite direction when you drive in reverse.

When it is twisted (in reverse) an engine pulley or fanbelt is scraping on some plastic part, or whatever, and making the noise.

If not under the hood, it may be one of the front brake pads that have a "worn brake pad" sensor. The sensor is an L-shaped piece of metal that scrapes the rotor when the brake pad backing gets too close to the rotor, hence worn brake pads.

If the noise is somewhere else, maybe another "expert" has a suggestion.
