Hi folks cars computer showed oul as ok but when on a roundabout "insufficient oil pressure"flashed on the computer screen but went off again once on the straight. Topped up oil at next garage then changed oil and filter next day. Engine is no blowing lots of smoke. Have had lots of suggestions from blocked injector or faulty glowplug causing unburnt fuel to damaged turbo oil seals or damaged turbo itself. I have no starting problems and drop in performance that I can notice. Any ideas? If it is the turbo oil seals or the turbo itself can a reasonable diyer change the seals/turbo and if so can anyone advise on where I can find instructions to do it. Thanks
Yes, yes, and no.. Idea: Have your oil pressure checked with a reliable gauge. If oil was low and you turned, maybe the oil pickup just couldn't get enough momentarily.
I would think you could do it yourself. Look at how many young kids work on turbos in their dad's garage.
Instructions? I don't know, but here's a possibility: Google Peugeot and find an enthusiasts forum for your car. There must be one or more for every car make by now. The good ones have lots of helpful guys who like to help other diy'ers. Good luck.
