My 1990 na automatic 3 and up gears are gone

It started when i would sometimes hit the gas and the gears where not catching so i would hav to let off the gas and slowly gradually push down, it was like that for a couple of weeks then when im goin around 40-55 the rpms would shoot for about 3-4 seconds then come back down and i wasnt pushing the gas hard or anything. finally it would do it around 3rd gear only letting me get to about 20 miles hr. i thought it was the tranny but could it be somethin else like a computer part or vacume hose that might connect to it please help its a good car and id hate to spend 300$ on a tranny and that not be the prob.

I'm having the same problem with my 1994 model! Sometimes it just rev's out and wont go into 3rd gear. I'm also hoping it's not the transmission. I've also noticed it's take off from first gear is alot slower.

You need to do a transmission diagnostics. Its easy and will eliminate questions about the tranny and what's up with it including the complex sensors that inform the ECU how and when to shift. You'll find the transmission diagnostic process in the Transmission part of the online factory service manual.
Reading the indicator lights will give you a code and a diagnosis of the tranny issue. If your tranny checks out ok then you'll need to check the ECU. The manual also has a separate set of steps to diagnose the ECU. Since the ECU controls the shifting, if the tranny itself reports back as fine, the you'll likely have an ECU issue which should show up in the diagnostics and/or indicate what piece of equipment or sensor is causing the problem.
I would do these diagnostic procedures before replacing anything. Z32 parts are not cheap and you may be making unnecessary replacements. Since you already replaced the tranny and your problem persists I would advise going straight to the ECU iagnostics and identifying what is making it shift incorrectly.
Hope this helps.

Automatic transmission won't catch any gear?

Check trans fluid levels, if this is ok, could be a torque converter or valve body solenoids issue.

You should either check the neutral switch on the column inside by the base or the steering wheel or replace it. Sounds like it maybe shorting out or a wire is pinching.

Hi, I`ve just buy a 1990 Dodge Spirit 2.5L Turbo, but yestrday I was unable to start. When I turned key, starter spins freely, but engine didnt catch up. All electronic is ok, so I guess the problem is...

Your Starter solenoid has gone bad on your starter or the gears on the starter or flywheel have a chiped gear.
It is most likely just the solenoid not engaging the starter though.
This can be found at your local parts store.

1990 silverado 5.7l struggles under load only when just off idle

With all you've done so far I'd have to say that I'd be tempted to take it to a good tranny shop just for sake of a diagnosis, which the mechanic can probably do free of charge, and a little drive down the road. Almost sounds like it's trying to take off in second gear or something. Other than that, the only thing that comes to mind at all is possible plugged exhaust, like catalytic converter.

Bogs out when i accelerate

plug wires!? They go bad over time, but may still look ok from outside ... get an ohm meter and pull a wire and check ... more than 500 ohms per foot is no good..... Good high quality wires will be no more than 150 ohms per foot.

Automatic choke stopped working- difficulty start- revs dropping low at stop

Quick and easy attempt to fix might be to try some fuel injector cleaner, the purple bottle stuff I put in, is only about $3 a bottle, and seems to eliminate similiar symptoms brought on by bad gas.
