Brake lights gone, hazards and blinkers work. fuses are good

Replace the turn signal switch. The 2 lower brake lights run through this swith but the upper one does not. Let me know if you have any questions. Its not a hard oub if you are fairly mechanical. I expensive to have a dealer do. The part new is about $65.00.

Just had a similar problem. Brake (stop) lights and horn didn't work. Couldn't find mention of stop lights in fuse chart. Found horn fuse to be slot 21 in the engine fuse block (not the fuse block in car interior). Replaced 15A fuse and all now ok.

Brake lights on 1998 nissan maxima

There is a break light switch which is on the brake pedal about 4- inches up from pedal /Brakes do work right/ this controls the brake lights you have a couple of recalls showing up as well just to make sure either go to collisionrepairadvice.com or give me the model and engine size

2003 silverado 1500 v-6 brake lights dont work

ljones, Did you check the "VEH stop" fuse in the left side instrument panel fuse box. There are 3 stop light fuses, 1 for all the stop lights located in the under hood fuse box. 2 in the left side IP fuse box. 1 for the upper stop light and 1 for the lower stop lights. The fuse box in the IP is where the upper and lower stop lights split. Let me know.

Fuse

Hi:
If you have the manual, generally in glove box, that came with the vehicle just look in index for fuse box and it will tell you where the fuse boxes are.
Hope this helps
