Bad light bulbs are a good place to look...have you replaced any lately. Look for a bulb where the filiment may be broke and laying against the filiment below it. I would suspect the stop light bulbs first.
...also, if you have replaced the bulb lately, check it again to see if you have placed it in backwards. You have a short in the cross over wire. Almost all cars and trucks have one main break wire with a second wire "y" in off to the passenger side . You could just wire in a cross over and disconnect the old one.

This indicator lamp is for the Electronic Throttle Control. If it is on while the engine is running, the vehicle should still be drivable, but requires a service check. If it is flashing while the engine is running, the engine will run poorly or not at all.
