SOURCE: keep blowing fuse for rear taillights and dashboard lights

Sounds like loose wires. Had a similar problem with my 03 Durango. Kept blowing fuses when I put them in. Came to find out my trailer wiring harness had fried and was shorting out.

#9 fuse keeps blowing

If you have a trailer harness, inspect it carefully , possible shorting wires. Most installers use cheesy scotch-locks or butt connectors and don\'t properly insulate them . If ok, remove tail lite assemblies and unplug harnesses from modules , bulb/socket modules common for shorting out.

Fuse keeps blowing to my dash guages in my 95 gmc sierra why?

have you recently installed a new radio ? I have knowen people to install radiosincorectly the dim wire behind the radio shows as a earth. however when you turn headlights on this becomes a positive. if you have wired this wire to your sterio this is whyyour dash lights & internal cab light etc keep blowing.. if your wondering why sterio still works is because its earthed through the aerial or mounting bolts.

Gmc safari van taillights/hazrds fuse keeps blowing every time I plug it in, where do I staart

I would doubt those two circuits are on the same fuse since they are different lights.
I would use a circuit breaker in place of the fuse, or a meter, and check each bulb-socket first.

I keep blowing fuses and keep replacing them because my dashlights and taillights are out but they continue to blow

Can u tell us wut FUSE did blows up?

Those fuses kept blowing, means theres a SHORT CiRCUiT somewhere in ur system, might as well bring it to ur nearest auto electrican to identify the FAULT!

My tail lights are not working, it keeps blowing my fuse.

1.Unplug your taillights at the sockets and the front running lights from sockets.
2. put in new fuse after unplugging taillights.
3 turn on taillights if fuse blows then the wiring is grounding out somewhere between the switch, fuse panel, and rear and or front parking lights.
4.If fuse does not blow then plug in one socket at a time keep rechecking fuse. when the fuse blows after plugging in a certain socket suspect that one to be bad and replace.

91 Cherokee limited keeps blowing number 7 fuse.could this be in headlight switch? No taillights

Fuse no 7 controls the circuit are the following:
  1. Instrument Cluster,
  2. Body Controller,
  3. Vehicle Theft Arming Light,
  4. Automatic Headlights,
  5. Diagnostic Connector
  6. and the Radio Amplifier.
So there are chances that problem may be with the head light also
