2003 F350 Intrument Cluster

YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO REPLACE ANY BULB WITHIN IT

Instrument cluster or power or ground . Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? How to use a wiring diagram an volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuits ? Test power an ground for instrument cluster

If this is the analog intrument cluster and the entire instrument cluster is intermittently losing illumination, remove the instrument cluster light fuse and replace it with a new fuse. It is remotely possible that the actual fuse holder wires have broken due to age and would need to be soldered back together.
If this is the digital instrument cluster and the entire display is going dead, it could be anything from the wiring harness to the BCM. If it is the digital instrument cluster, I can really only recommend taking it to a reputable shop or Cadillac dealer to service.

Check the indicator cable inside the column shrouds.

definitely a ground problem. although if it was you would blow a fuse.

you need to remove your dash cluster remove screws around trim then pull it out of way then you can see how to remove cluster

you will have to pull the instrument cluster . the buls twist off the back of the cluster you can get bulbs at the dealer

Fuse number 41, also check fuse number 35 and number 2. I found those 3 fuses for the instrument cluster.

on the steering column on top between the wheel and the gauge cluster

The 2002 F-250 PStroke 4x4 had the instument lamps poping the fuse intermittently .
Turned out to be a wire getting pinched btween the emergency brake lever and the release stop .
Had to remove the keft kick panel and there was a yellow wire coming from the lower harness up toward the dash . the wire was pinched /hung up in the emergency brake mechanism . Good Luck
