My Acura zdx remote stopped working after my car got towed,alarm went off and I had to use key to stop the alarm . I cannot use my alarm again how can I get back to remote key again?

Sorry i have no details for re-programming this vehicle in my alldata book as its a europeon version .but if its like the opels here then this year can only be done with dealer diagnostic equipment

Check your manual for remote programming. may have to reprogram remote control or leave car running so it can all reprogram to factory settings

you need to know where that push button is under the dash

if you cant find it your self ... ring the place back for instructions

not nice but
you may have to get them to call out and show you or
tow the car back to where you got the battery fitted

The alarm won't stop going off on Acura 2005, what can stop it?
I had a similar problem and the solution was actually very simple. I opened the car manually (with the key not remote control), then locked it manually with the button on the side of the driver's door. I think that reset the alarm and all was good!

I have a 96 vetta and when i tryed to open the car the alarm went off and wont stop... i had to take off the battery cable to shut it up.... every time i try to reconect it... the alarm wont stop...
The reset may work. Try opening your trunk, leave it open, put one key in your driver's door and the other in the ignition (on position) then your buttons on your remote should be able to turn off the car alarm again.

Sounds like you have a key without the chip in it. Replacement keys without the chip will only unlock the doors and will activate the theft alarm when you start the vehicle.

i have a 1996 grand caravan, and i have the problem of alarm going off too. I also do not have a keychain to turn it off. All you have to do is unlock the driver door or passenger door with a regular key, and that stops the alarm.
