SOURCE: Drivers electic seat will not adjust
I just had the same problem. When the seat is powered all the forward, one of the worm drives reached the end of its travel and jammed against the threaded block that it passes through. To fix this the seat has to be unbolted and tipped back. There are four tiny 6mm bolts that hold the motor plate in. Remove these and the motor will come out. The worm drive is bolted in at one end and has a set pin at the other. Remove the worm drive and use a couple of vice grips or equivalent to loosen the threaded block from the worm drive.

I have the same problem. I removed the motor assembly that powers the seat fore/aft and found a stripped plastic gear on the right-hand side of the driver-side seat track. It looks kinda like a speedometer gear. I was able to remove it, and hopefully Infiniti sells just the little gear.

Well what I saw when I pulled my seats out of my 97 LC was that the worm gear on the bottom of the track had lost some tread. (its plastic) also, there is a cap that screws in to the end of that gear to hold it in place, so when you reverse the seat, the gear moves if that cap falls out of place ----small plastic cap fell out in mine. The whole rail system is like $300 at Toyota but i found a website that sells the cap and the gears for $20. I will try to post it tomorrow-for the time being, you can take the seat out -be sure to unplug the electronics, and use a wrench to manually move the seat back and then put it back into place
