2002 ford taurus stall when coming to a stop but start up quickly i have no check engine light that comes on what can it be

Check the air filter if its plugged it could cause the stall,check the throttle plate for dirt as this will cause a stall.the throttle plate is located in the intake were the air snorkel fastens to the intake manifold.if you look inside the intake you will see a gold coloured plate this is the throttle plate.if you get a can of intake/throttle cleaner and a tooth brush you can spray the cleaner and gentle scrubbing the plate front and back while holding the throttle open and make sure you clean the area around where the sides of the plate sit when the throttle is closed.this is a common problem on all vehicles.
