Help my dads 96 dodge caravan has went crazy he changed the fuse box thinking it would make all the lights work he locked the van doors and when he returned the alarm he didnt know he had went off he couldnt get it to stop alarming even by pulling the battery cable off or the fuses out he had it towed put the old fuse box back on and the alarm quit sounding but now want crank at all he thought the fuel pump went out so he replaced it and still nothing he doesnt have an alarm key chain or anything like i said it wasnt even suppose to have an alarm until changing the fuse box help

I have a 2003 Town and Country mini-van and I lost power to all my ... In addition to this my wipers, headlight controls, blinker controls, power door locks, and A/C/heat controls are out as well. The odd thing is that the power windows work, the power sideview mirrors work, the radio and ceiling lights also work.

Sensor problem maybe . You don't say what year the vehicle is . Computer controlled (BCM) body control module . Have it check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes first .

Try looking for a fuse box in the glove box. Even try opening both front doors and looking on the sides of the dash. O e other spit may be under the steering column. You will have to lay on the driver side floor looking up to find d it if its there

check both fuse boxes,, One is under the dash inside the van, the other is under the hood,,

the other fuze box is eather when you open the driver door on the side of the dash, or it is under the dash on the driver side is the other places for your box

Get in van. Close doors. Cycle ignition 4 times with key. Do not start. Within 10 seconds of the 4th cycle, press the lock switch on driver door panel. If you here a chime locks are reprogramed.

Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing with volt meter ? Do you know what a wiring diagrams is , how to use it to test electrical wiring ? One of the door switches could be the problem ! Find wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html .

sounds like a door lock switch is stuck on it causing it to lock and unlock there should be a fuse in the under dash fuse box for them.

The problem is the BCM. The fix is a software update. Resetting the computer by removing and then replacing the 20 amp fuse marked 10D in the fuse box under the hood next to the battery is a temporary fix.

You will need to test the Body Control Module, it controls the lights.
