Changing timing belt,need diagram for timing marks.
Do not take it off before you are ready with the new one.
Turn the crankshaft until the engine is at tdc. The key on the pulley should be at the top.
Use a little paint brush and a little paint,and mark a couple of teeth on the camshaft pulley and the belt in between these teeth. if there are any other pulleys using the belt, do the same for them.
Do the same for the crank pulley. Take off the belt, try not to move anything. Count the belt teeth between these two marks and transfere them to the new belt. Now fit the belt in the exact places that the old one came off. Do this very carefully and you should have no problems.
