the ABS and traction light are on due to a failure with the speedometer. I SUSPECT A SEED SENSOR would be the culprit as if speed is not sensed from a wheel (RF / LF /RR / LR) the ABS module with be disabled and would lite the ABS and Brake light. the airbag and heated seats are on separate circuit. the air bag should be diagnosed with a handheld device ( go to advance auto or similar type parts store)n they will read the code.. post the code and I may be able to help ... also ask em to get the ABS / Brake codes a ell
The error could be in transmission abs airbags or engine among others. As many modules these days is staggering. Suggest take it to dealer. Not many mechanic shops have the ability to check codes or repair suspension , airbag or other manufacturer specific design ed systems. And you will get much more knowledgeable mechanic. Could be as simple as wheel bearing loose, most prelevent cause, but without codes from computer making lights come on, were dead in water. Transmission in limp home mode makes me lead to guess, ya just a guess, to say you are missing a speed sensor. Signal. Now car will still start without crank sensor, tourque converter input speed sensor, trans output speed or any of the four abs wheel speed. Like I said loose wheel bearing causes mag pick up wheel speed sensor to miss counts, ad has predetermined amount of pulsed electrical signals it produces, when one not equal to others then pops code. Good luck write what code is found and where. Thx

Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Range/Performance (P0501).This could be something that due to some very abnormal driving situations.Fix;I would wait to see if the code goes away after more normal driving and if this does not fix it I would take it to a qualified shop for further testing.Thank you for your questions
codes are for 1-2 & 2-3 shift solenoid if it was a fuse you would have more codes- abs light need to scan for codeI would check wires at trans connection known to go bad also ck pcm & wiring from pcm to trans that runs along under radiater core support
(1) I would suggest someone scan the ABS system for codes. I Have an '03 silverado 2500HD Crew cab, and it needs an EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module) "ABS module". "Service Brake System" message on dash, ABS and Brake warning lamps lit as well. May be the R/F ABS wheel speed sensor, but what you described happen, shouldn't have caused damage to it. (2) If the aftermarket rim and tire combo are larger than stock (larger overall diameter), then this may affect the way your PCM functions. You can reprogram the PCM to recognize larger diameter running gear so trans shift points and the speedometer and such can function properly. I hope this helps.
