Try replacing your coolant temperature sensor(not switch). It tells the computer what temp. your engine is and has an effect on fuel injector duty cycle. The other possibility is, that when your car warms to a specific temp. it goes into "closed loop" operation(which is normal) where the PCM controls output sensors, like fuel pressure, timing, etc. and a sensor is bad. The problem with 1995 is it is not obdll and unless you have a hard failure the CEL will not neccesarily come on. You can still have your car scanned for stored codes but not with obdll code readers/scanners. It's a long shot, but check your air intake tube(big black hose from air filter housing to engine)for any cracks which would create a big vacuum leak when trying to accelerate. Replace if so, or get some duct tape and seal as a temporary fix. Good luck.
I would check the Mass airflow sensor, if not working properly it will not have the car adjust to the air coming in causing too much air for fuel causing the engine to die.
Hello. Thanks for choosing Fixya! Begin by changing the fuel filter and the air filter. If that doesn't solve your problem take your Nissan to any autoparts store or shop that can put it on a scanner to see what other issues the car has. THanks for choosing fixya! Regards, Joe
try replacing the crankshaft and camshaft sensers, my 2004 sentra spec v had the same problem. It cost me $122 for both the sensers and can be done in 20mins
You will need to run a fuel pressure test on it to see if your fuel pressure is correct. How many miles are on the car and when was the last time the fuel filter was replaced.
