The key won't turn in the ignition of my 98 Toyota Avalon. A few years ago we were without a key and had to have a new one made. I can't remember the specifics, but there was some issue unique to 98 avalons that made the replacement very expensive. We only got one key and no "clicker" for it. I think the key is not making a good connection. It had to be jiggled in the ignition prior to it not working at all.
