AFTER YOUR TRUCK IS AT OPERATING TEMP CHECK BOTH OF THE HEATER HOSES GOING INTO THE REAR HEATER AND SEE IF ONE IS HOT AND THE OTHER ONE IS COLD. IF THEY ARE AS I MENTIONED THEN YOUR PROBLEM COULD BE THE REAR HEATER CONTROL VALVE (if the valve is located after where you checked the hoses) OR YOU HAVE A PLUGGED HEATER CORE AND IT NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED OR REPLACED. IF BOTH HOSES ARE COLD THEN CHECK WHERE THE REAR HEATER CONTROL VALVE IS LOCATED AND IF IT IS BEFORE THE REAR HEATER HOSES START THEN SEE IF THE HOSE GOING INTO THE REAR HEATER CONTROL VALVE IS HOT GOING IN AND COLD GOING OUT AND IF IT IS REPLACE THE VALVE AND THAT WILL FIX YOUR REAR HEATING PROBLEMS ! GOOD LUCK ! MICHAEL...

How can I determine if my compressor is out on my

If you still get cold air out of the rear vents but the front only blows hot air you may have a bad temp door actuator in the dash, it may be stuck on hot and not able to move to cold air. However if you are low on freon with a truck that has front and rear ac then there will be a temp diff between the two. If it is hot air out the front like the heat is on then you have that actuator problem but if it is cool air about the same as the outside air temp then you may be low on freon.

2002 dodge 1500 Changed radiator, thermostat, and hoses. No heat

Why was radiator replaced?Did it have heat before ? If it was plugged, the heater core may also be plugged. Try flushing it with a water hose in both directions. I dont know why the botton radiator hose would be cold, the radiator should be a uniform temp and the air coming through the radiator should be HOT, when the engine is at operating temp. What condition was the old coolant? if it was rusty, the water pump may have lower flow than normal.

Front a/c problems

There is probably a temperature blend door in the duct-work under the dash that is inoperable or stuck in the heat mode.

Heat blowing cold air in 2004 chevrolet suburban

With coolant full and engine hot, make sure both heater hoses are hot. If not replace thermostat. If they are, check the blend door for proper operation. Otherwise you may have a bad climate control module. Check both front & rear units.
