Hi Tina, I'm of the opinion you should have the fuel filter and fuel pump pressure checked before doing anything else. If the fuel filter has been recently replaced it is most likely defective and collapsing under load, that could also apply if the filter is old, the difference being it may be clogging and blocking the fuel delivery to the fuel rail. Your best bet in this situation would be to start with the simplest things first. Have your car tuned up, ie. spark plugs and wires, egr valve, thermostat. If things still don't change, then it's going to be your fuel pump/fuel filter.
