Get the OBDII codes and we can help you, with my experance it's a vacumn leak or IAC malfunction, do you hear a vacumn leak on start up? sometimes they can be cleaned, IAC is located on the throttlr body.

Get the OBD2 codes read to determine what (and how many) errors are being reported by the check engine light. Most auto parts stores will do this for free, and decipher the codes, sell you the part too!

It sounds like you are in Limp Mode. Check for DTC Codes on a professional grade scan tool computer. It will show the diagnostics and the codes show the fix.

Rpm revs up then back down. when goes back down feels like what either its a rpm bump. or when it revs down feels like its slowing down

All my rom gage is doing something funny like around 25 to thirty five my rpm gage will go up and down some times when i let my foot off the gas it will go uo then back down also but now it does it in park...

Make sure you have gauge earthed or earth wire earthed. Regards Billy

My crysler 300c check ingine light on and wont revers and it only goes 40to30 rpm why?

You would need to take the car to a shop or auto parts store and get the computer scanned for trouble codes.
The codes will direct you in the area of the problems and what to test.

My 99 maxima car rpm goes up and down olny when i hit 2,000rpm's and will not go over 45 mph what could be wrong with it ?

If your driving along light on the gas & as the transaxle
shifts or later the tach or rpm flairs up,then the transaxle
is slipping

There is no fix for that ,other than having it removed & rebuilt

Need a trans repair shop for that

Your crankshaft sensor doesn't always make the light blink. I'm almost positive it your crankshaft sensor.

Hi i have a 1999 vw passat 2.8 v6 and the problem is that my car does not accelerate as normal,it goes up to 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm and it goes up and down,if i step more on gas it passes the 2000rpm but...

p1545 is a throttle control malfuction code

You can try to reset the throttle body by opening the hood and drivers door then turning your key to the accessory position. You will hear the throttle body whir and click. It may take up to two minutes. Afterward, the car will relearn your habit of driving and adjust accordingly.

you probably need to check the butterfly. its the compinent that controls how much air goes into the engine if it is weared than in idle state air leaks into the engine sometime more sometimes less and cause fluctuations in rpm

secondly there is a rpm switch which controls the rpm you can replace that switch and check

Check ingine code says there is a air leak somewhere

evap leak can be due to a gas cap not tightened fully. Did this code come up after fueling? If yes, have auto parts store erase code for you at no charge.
