SOURCE: TCS, SLIP and ABS lights on
Check your brake fluid first. If that is low, top it off and recheck. If its ok, than you will need one of the rear ABS sensors. You will need to plug it in and find out which side it is. That's really the only ABS issue that car has. One of the rear ABS sensors fails.
SOURCE: service engine soon, TCS off, SLIP
The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.
There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.
Testimonial: "very helpful. i have the mechanic checked the car , the sensor says it has a malfunction in P0340"
SOURCE: Sounds like the belt is slipping and the battery
First of all if the belt has been slipping ,that causes the belt to get hot. Rubber belts ,after getting hot and cold too much ,makes the rubber hard and brittle and will crack and brake. The belt system has a tenisionor pulley that keeps constant tension on the belt .With the engine off pull on the belt and the belt should be hard to move . If the belt moves easy ,the the tensionor needs to be replaced with a new belt also.If all is good remove the belt and turn all the pulleys, A/C ,alt.,Power sterring, ect., To determine which pulley is not working proper
SOURCE: Problem with ligh ABS and TCS ! What to do?
There are a lot of things that could cause this. We need to pull the codes in the ABS module to see what code(s) are setting and diagnose those codes. Check around the local auto part store to see if they can check ABS codes. Some might be able to check it for free.
Most of the time its one of the speed sensor or the harness to the sensor. Sometimes its the connection, where it hooks up under the body by the drivers side sliding door. There is a few connections there.
The one for the ABS is the 4 wire connection. Make sure that connector is clean and no corrosion or water is in there.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate
your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about
this answer.
Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day
SOURCE: TCS OFF Slip
probably a wheel speed sensor has kicked the bucket, which is why the tcs light came on , have to check your ABS system to see if its functional.
