My cadillac broke down it ran outa gas i refilled it with petrol and drove home.the next morning it wouldnt start up and the reset swith wont work how do i reset the computer on it manually

sounds like you have a failing ecu. the capacitors in the ecu are worn out. there has been a lot of problems with the ecu on mazda's over the years, only take one out put overload from the alternator and the ecu starts playing up. no codes come up as it don't code its self. having the battery off is like a reset.
No, there isn't a reset. When you run out of fuel, after refilling turn your key on without starting the vehicle. You should hear the fuel pump working for a couple seconds. After the pump stops then try to start the vehicle. Because you could hear the fuel pump working, it is possible that your fuel filter is dirty/clogged. I hope this helps.
sounds like a broken timing belt,timing belts like to break during engine cranking and engine shut down. there are inspection holes in the timing cover,if you can't determine, remove top half of timing cover and check belt for slap,if there's slap,it's broke.
Sounds like you have a loose connection on a battery cable. loosen the bolt and pull off each end and clean, then replace. When you clean them, make sure you get down to clean metal.
