Do you have the luxury model ? The ticking you hear is probably the Turn/Hazard Flasher
Mounted to the convenience center, under the left side of the IP, to the left side of the steering column, on the bulkhead .
Is this about where you hear the ticking ?
How good of battery did you buy ? A cheap one from walmart ? They won't last long ,they are junk . The only way the alternator would kill a battery is by over charging , you would need to hook up a voltmeter to the battery an see how much it's charging . 15 volts or over is too much . Do any of light's flicker ? Could be a bad diode in the alternator . You can take it to most auto part stores an they will check the charging system free .
Does the vehicle have these ?

The high beam problem i would suspect the switch ,but without testing that would be just a guess .
I would venture to guess you have no clue on how to do automotive electrical circuit testing . Looking at wiring diagrams for the problem circuits an testing with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is the correct way to find electrical problems . Not thinking it's this or that or guessing . I would suggest that you have a qualified repair shop diagnose the problems. Free wiring diagrams here

SOURCE: Fast Blinker noise driving me crazy Mystery of what the heck it could be
Replace the Turn Signal Relay, it's getting old and wore out. When you replace it, the sound will remain, but it won't be near as fast a sound.
SOURCE: Right hand indicator(turn signal) doesn't
Look and see if one of the turn signal lights is not working. I fast flasher usually means there is an open curcuit on one of the lights (front or rear turn signal). It could be just a burned out bulb.
SOURCE: Dodge Charger Interior lights quit working
check your fuse box, unlikely all bulbs went.
could also be wiring problem. tedious job to check this.
get the thing in to neutral , switch contact and get to the wiring checking for ground en positive voltage. Some very old car type had this problem with one broken lightbulb only. But have not seen this since 1978. I suggest a connector is loose or cable broke.
But I had an old Austin Allegro once who had several bulbs run out of live.
SOURCE: a/c blows from floor
sounds like two problems. the ticking sound is probably a broken blend door stop. the wet floor is probably a bad heater core, both require dash removal.
SOURCE: speedometor not working or blinkers
Depends.. If you touched multiple fuse ports with the pliers then yes..

Could this be a bad alternator that is causing a power shortage? We've always wondered if this car had electrical issue because we've replaced three batteries over several years.
One more comment would be that when I first start up the car, the High beams will not come on until we've been driving the car for a good 7-10 minutes. It may be related to the ticking. I keep thinking fuses, battery, alternator?
