Relays could cause this as could a fuse,, but also check that lock switch,, with a meter you will be able to see if power is actually being allowed to pass through the locking switch.
sorry didn't finish,, your owners manual should have a page dedicated to fuses and locations. if you don't have the owners manual,, heres one for you

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
