Soundsa like the starter or the fender mounted solioid is malfunctioning. Does anytrhing clich as you turn the key to start? If theirs no click at all you might look and the starter relay ( solioid) it's located near the battery and it has the positive battery cable connected to it. Also notice the most common no start is the battery cables aren't making good connection to the battery or the battry is too low as it may be low on charge. Have the battry tested or if handy to do see if it starts normally with jumper cables connected to a running car. If it starts just fine the battery or the charging system needs to be looked into. it it tris to start and crnks slowly and makes bad noises the starter is likly bad. If it had been starting just fine and this happened all the sudden the cables connected to the battery or the battery failing are the most likly.

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Two voltage circuits at the starter motor, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other goes hot with key in the start position and is wired through clutch switch, I haven't looked up info on your clutch switch. The starter motor is grounded through engine block. Any testing at starter motor, make sure tranny is out of gear and parking brake is set.
You can check the starter itself, take it off, lay it on the ground, hook up jumper cables properly from battery to starter motor, at the least, it should kick out the drive gear and spin.

1994 Mazda PU Truck sometimes won't start if shutoff for 5-10 minutes.. Several tries later, it will start. spark seems ok, it gets enough fuel for a second, but then poops out. fuel pump shuto
Well there is no shutoff relay, but there is a fuel pump relay that powers the pump.
I would check it first. The computer grounds the relay for 3 seconds when you crank the engine to boost fuel pressure. Once the engine starts the pump is powered only if you have oil pressure.

Car won't start got spark and gas its sounds like timing off but timing belt looks good
Just cause the belt looks good doesn't mean the timing didn't jump. Could be a sensor. Did you have a service engine soon light or check engine light? Could be a weak coil and still have spark. Do you have a fuel shutoff switch/cable under kick panel or in trunk? May be that also.

It's called the clutch start switch. Yes, it could be bad or needs adjustment.

Push the clutch in and the switch closes contact, so power flows from the ignition switch start position to the clutch switch and on to the starter motor-well, actually to the starter solenoid on the starter motor. If you have a voltmeter or test light, you can test the clutch switch . A red and white wire to it and a red wire from the switch to the starter solenoid. When this wire gets to the solenoid, it is a black wire with red stripe. It should have voltage when key is held in start position and the clutch pedal is depressed.

When I push the gas on my car it won't go past
The car runs fine after it warms up? Is it running with the check engine light off? But it does come on with the key before the engine is started? If the coolant temperture senser is bad ( or disconnected someway) the check engine light will be on but the car might run OK at normal operating tempertures. Have the car checked for codes. It's OBDI so you might have to find a service provider that can ceck the codes on this pre OBDII car. If it turly runs good at normal operating tempertures and the transmission is'nt low on fluild then the coolant senser does'nt always turn the check engine light on if it's bad and still reading something but wrong. Truly running good and the coolant is full ( all the way). chage the senser and see what happens as thier cheap and easy to change with commn hand tools.654437604.jpg
