Hoses my husband removed some hoses on our 89 cadillac sedan deville. He says that they are vacuum hoses. He can't remember how they go back on. Help!! Is there a diagram of the engine that I can look at to see how they go? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi , what problem are you having ? There is no such relay on a 89 Cadillac ! Could you possibly mean a ASD relay - auto shut down relay ? That component is used on Chrysler products !

The front hub has to be removed and the axle shaft is pulled out of the transmission.

I have a 1995 Cadillac Deville. The car runs great. When Its cold. As soon as it gets hot, if you turn it off it won't start. And when it does start is has no power and spits and sputters to the point where you have to lay on the gas to keep it running. My husband and I have done everything imaginable to this car and it will run great for a day or two then we are right back to square one. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? Please help/

SOUND LIKE FUEL PUMP GOING BAD.BUT CHECK THE EVAP CHARCOAL CANISTER FILTER IF GAS SOAKED REPLACE IT REPLACE GAS CAP MAKE SURE GAS CAP IS THE PRESSURE VACUUM TYPE.ALSO CHECK VACUUM PURGE VALVE VACUUM HOSE TO CARBURETOR AND CHECK VACUUM HOSE TO CHARCOAL CANISTER FOR BLOCKAGE RESTRICTION OR BROKEN AND MISSING.

its just above the pedal, there should be a little lever that you can manually take the brake off in case the vauum can is bad or disconnected. the vac can is attached to that linkage.
