Check for a bad coolant temperature sensor. if bad it will send wrong info to pcm. and the pcm thinks engine is still cold. worth a try ! good-day !

1998 cherokee stall when driving and gets warm ,And wont start till it cools off ?

does your temp gage seem off does it go like up to the h because if it does you could try unpluging your upper coolent sensor because that could cause that because it is telling you computer to run in closed loop when it should be running in open loop

1998 saturn 4 cyl. when the engine is cool it starts fine. but after running for a short time and turn it off i cannot start it right away. i have to wait for 20 minutes or so. the starter solenoid will...

The problem may not be the engine operating temp., but rather the starter solenoid. I have experienced the same problem with Chev. P.U.'s that have the solenoid mounted on the starter. By changing the contacts in the solenoid, the problem went away. If possible take the starter to a reputable auto electrical shop, and have them check it.

Cold starts ok warms up shakes and stalls

check engine coolant temperature when it gets warmer, or at operating temperature, and verify that the temperature gauge is showing warmed up to operating temperature. If the coolant temperature sensor tells the computer the engine is cold it will over fuel and miss and the engine will die. When cooled down it will run fine until it warms up. Also could be coil if it starts missing after warmed up.

Vibration when in gear, and stalling.

The problem is the torque converter solenoid. I had it happen on my 94 Cavalier a few years back and was a cheap fix at the local car mechanic. What happens is the transmission warms up and hits a certain speed where the solenoid engages, but then it sticks and won't disengage until it cools down sufficiently. When it sticks, it causes the car to shake when slowing down and will snub out the engine if you come to a stop.

95 dakota dies when warmed up

yes it can but you may have a coolant temp sensor acting up which causes the computer to open the injectors to much which can also cause this 02 sensor code. when it stalls do u have spark and fuel pressure.

Stalls when engne warms up

Your ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) sensor is bad. What's happening is at cold start it richens up the fuel mixture and as it warms up the ECM thinks it's still cold and essentially the "choke" is still on. Also check your coolant level. If you don't have enough coolant in you engine/radiator, the ECT doesn't know what to do so it thinks it's cold.
