Im having the same an issue with my Kia..the dorr light comes on and makes a beeping noise while driving.. i was wondering how i could fix it. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks

It appears that one of the door operated switches is making contact even though the door is closed. This is indicated by the interior light coming on and the beeping noise is alerting that the vehicle has a door not closed properly when the vehicle is in motion.

It could mean the door catch is slightly out of adjustment allowing door to sit slightly away from body. Try checking each door for a loose fit by pushing the closed door in, especially the driver's which gets the most use. There should be only a little movement as the sealing rubbers are squeezed a little more. If door catches are tight then it may be that the rubber pad attached to the door that pushes on the door switch button has compressed and is allowing switch to make contact.

Door ajar button stays on and makes a beeping noise

You will need to spray each door latch including the rear hatch liberally with WD 40 or spray lubricant on the latch and open and close each door several times after spraying. This will usually be sufficient to get the door sensors to detect when you have closed the doors. If this doesn't do it, it will hep to figure out which door is intermittently causing the door ajar light to stay on.

"Door Ajar" signal on dash panel stays on even when doors are clo

there should be a switch mounted( or more than one) in the door jamb that tells the car when the car door is open...i will probably look like a little plastic plunger...might be broken off or bad internally

Interior Lights and Door Ajar light stay w/beeping noise.

Try spraying WD-40 into the door latching mechanism (door side). I learned this fix after two battery replacements, but have only had to spray twice in the more than seven years of ownership
