Hi, this sounds like a loose wire or connector. I recommend you pull the PGM-FI relay up out of it's socket and check to make sure the terminals underneath are not pushed in and fit snug onto the relay blades.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Looks like that the fuel float in the tank is worn out. You will need to have the fuel float replaced for you to have a good reading of the fuel.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a 1988 honda civic it shuts down while Im driving. It will start up again after a few minutes. I replaced the fuel pump but the problem is still on going. please help me

Sounds like your fuel pump relay is going bad. On most honda models this is located under the dash on the driver's side of the car. If the relay is okay, then the next step would be to replace the iginition switch. On my 1988 Honda it would not start up after I shut it off and went into the store and came back out. My brother's Honda would just shut down when turning a corner or changing lanes. After changing his fuel pump and fuel filter, we changed the ignition switch and that solved the problem. If I were you I would change the ignition switch.

1988 honda civic 1.5eng.cut off now will not start it

You need a cap and rotor. Rotor is probaly grounding thru distributor shaft from a carbon track.
