1996 chevrolet caprice 4dr

My speedometer light was coming off and and on. Now it doesn't come on at all. Also, I just noticed the interior light does not go off after I get out of the car. Sometime the check oil light comes on and then goes off. It dosn't need an oil change.

Change the speedometer gauge system completely
and if you have those little buttons on the door for the interior light to come on when opened sometimes those stick so spray WD40 around the button and see if that takes care of the problem

run a test light on the portal it hooks up in if its digital to see if its getting a spark or charge or you could replace the plugs in the back of the compartment

you may have water trapped in wiring harness in engine area iwould use air to blow out the water and see what comes out. hope this helps thunderboltz. p.s also check grounds
