Make shur that your lights are not on in your glove box ! My trans am was doing the same ! But it was the body control module!

take it back to where you got the eng done and tell them to fix the light or the problem ,

actually your aspen would start then die out after about 3 seconds. if you have tried this repeatedly, Now it does not start at all (your ECU is now locked up since it thinks you were trying to steal the vehicle). The little red light is your antitheft system. Your remote head key has failed. You can find a locksmith that does these at www.findalocksmith.com or you can have it towed to the dealership for a computer reset and another key.

battery read 12.6v? if not its dead or discharged.
jump start it. or charge it.
if the battery reads correct.
check fusess.
if the dash check engine lamp is not glowing key on,that
is a sure sign the ECU/PCM has no 12v power, at all.
if the head lights are dead, always fix that first.
as head lights are HOT 24/7, all the time.
and prove , total loss of power.
