It is not a carburetor, it is a throttle body-disconnect the harness, the throttle cable and the bolts that hold it onto the intake-after you have removed the intake tube. It really is not very difficult, just take your time and pay attention to what you remove and where parts go for purposes of re-assembly.there is no fuel involved and it is a good idea to get a gasket for the throttle body to intake in case the original is damaged on disassembly.

remove the fuel line from the carb, put it into a bottle, crank the engine, If the bottle has fuel in it the fuel pump is working properly, if not, check the filter, and the fuel lines to the tank!!!
