IMPORTANT NOTE:
You must have the security anti-theft code for your VW radio from the car manufacturer, or from a VW dealer!

You can find the radio code at: http://www.radio-code.co.uk/

The sequence of programming for VW radio is:
1. Push simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys until on the screen will appear "1000" displayed.
2. Release keys. No more push on "SCAN" and "RDS" keys because otherwise number "1000" will be considered as first safe code attempt.
For example: we have the security code "5079". Then:
3. By the no.# 1 key you will set up the first safe code digit. Push 5 times on the no.# 1 button. The "5" number will be setted.
4. By the no.# 2 key you will set up the second safe code digit. Push 10 times on the no.# 2 button. The "0" number will be setted.
5. By the no.# 3 key you will set up the third safe code digit. Push 7 times on the no.# 3 button. The "7" number will be setted.
6. By the no.# 4 key you will set up the four-th safe code digit. Push 9 times on the no.# 4 button. The "9" number will be setted.
7. Then push again simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys for confirm this safe code. On the screen will be displayed "SAFE" notice. Release keys! For few seconds a radio frequence will be displayed.

The radio is now ready for use!

How do reset my radio code without the digital panel to see what numbers i am entering

Find someone else who has the same radio installed in their car. Write down the sequence and procedure from switch on required to enter YOUR code (even though it won't unlock their radio) and then you should be able to do the same entry "blind" to your radio in your car. You may have to cause the other radio to go into code request to start at the proper point so be sure you have the code for that radio. Clear as mud?

2011 Chevy impala..battery was dead..had a jump start..but radio system want come on now..

If your radio has theft protection built in, it thinks it was stolen because its standby power was interrupted. Check the owner's manual to see if there is a special procedure for preventing this lockout when the battery is changed. Typically, it involves entering some sort of code sequence on the radio controls. If you don't know the code sequence or never set it up, you'll probably have to have a factory reset done. (Sorry, I don't know how that is done; the manufacturer keeps it secret for obvious reasons.)

I cannot find my owners manual of my 2004 Honda CRV and need to reset my radio. I have the reset code but need the instructions on how to reset it.

Method for all Honda/Acura vehicles except '03-'07 Accords with navigation system

1. The code is five digits, which will correspond to the radio station preset buttons that are numbered 1 through 6.
2. While the radio's display is showing COdE, punch each preset button once, IN THE ORDER GIVEN.
Example: Code is 62531. Hit the right-hand (6th) button first, then the 2nd from left, then the 5th from left, and so on.
3. If you have done the order correctly, the radio should start working after the last digit has been entered. If it does not, then you have made a mistake. You may try up to ten times (only three times on some models!), after which the radio will lock up and you need to then either disconnect the car's battery or wait one hour before trying again. If you disconnect the battery, disconnect both cables from the battery, then touch the cable ends together. Some radios have capacitors that will keep the memory alive for up to ten minutes. Touching the cable ends together will discharge the capacitors.
4. If you make a mistake in code entry part way through, CONTINUE entering ALL digits of the sequence of five, even if they are just random! You MUST finish the sequence of five in order for the radio to allow you to restart the sequence. or you can go to a honda dealer for instructions on how to reset radio. have a good day !!

2001 Honda Crv need directions for reseting radio code

The reset code for many Honda products is found in the glove box. Open the glove box and on the back of the door you should see a small sticker with two sets of numbers on it. The number set with 5 digits is your radio reset code. When you get the message "code" enter the numbers in sequence using the radio preset buttons. If entered correctly, your radio shoud turn on immediately.

God Bless and good luck

HOW DO I RESET THE RADIO AFTER CHANGING THE BATTERY?

you will need the code to unlock the stereo.
You will probably need to have the radio removed from the dash in order to get the serial number off of it.... but maybe not...
I would call the dealership and ask them what you are required to do to get the code and dirrections on how to enter it...
If you try to enter a random code and it is wrong... your stereo system will lock up and you will have to go thru the ststem reset sequence ( Ignition in ACC for 60+ minutes and enter correct code)

Radio displays EEEE, wont accept code

Did you enter the code in the proper sequence? I reprogrammed mine and it took quite awhile to reset. The manual will tell you how long it takes. It works fine now. Hope this helps.

Radio code

If you have tried a few times before NOT entering the right code or making error when entering code. This radio will lock you out, here is what you do disconnect battery cable for 60 seconds (positive cable) or disconnect radio fuse. Then re-enter code make sure that you are pressing firmly on number and make sure that you enter correctly.(POWER ON RADIO SHOULD BE IN ON POSITION WHEN DOING THIS) If this doesn't work then you will need to go to HOnda and fora fee they will be able to get code. Good Luck and thanks for using FIX YA.
