2004 Chevrolet Silverado Stereo Wiring Information

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Orange
Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Class 2 Serial Data
Radio Ground Wire: Black/White
Radio Amplifier Trigger Wire: Pink
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Tan

I couldn't find a self-help YouTube video specific to your vehicle, however I would recommend purchasing a service repair manual book or e-download specific to your vehicle; like Chilton, Motors, Haynes, etc., or calling your local Chevy dealership's service dept or parts dept and see if they'll tell you how.

Pull the 02 sensor ahead of the cats and see which one allows the engine to run best and that is the one you want to change. On a 199 you may want to change both because about time you do one it won't be long before you do the other.

Sounds like your dimmer switch is stuck on or broken/worn out. Sometimes you can get it back by clicking your high beam switch in & out many times. If it frees up & switches back to lowbeam it will buy you time before you need to replace the dimmer switch. If not you will need to replace it right away.

i can not take apart my old half shaft on a 94' chevy 1500k all i need is some kind of exploded view to see how its done i have never done this before

This could be either a bad headlight switch or dimmer switch. Sometimes the dimmer switch gets dust inside it and causes these symptoms.

the dimmer switch is located in the steering column and is a part of the turn signal module. you must remove the steering wheel,column cover to remove the turn signal/dimmer switch module.

Check brake light switch. When brake pedal is pushed to take shift lever out of park,switch sends current to a magnetic lock on steering column to release from park.
I have a 97 Z71 that had the same problem. I put on a new brake light switch and it took care of my problem.
