HOW MANY QUARTS OF TRANSMISSION FLUID NEEDS THE CHRYSLER 2002 TOWN & COUNTRY. THIS QUESTION IS BECAUSE YESTERDAY MY MECHANIC MADE THE TRANSMISSION SERVICE. MY TRANSMISSION WAS WORKING GOOD, BUT, AFTER HE CHANGED THE FLUID AND THE GASKET THE TRANSMISSION BANGS WHEN I APPLY THE BREAKS OR I REDUCE THE SPEED.

-I don't think that replace fluid and gasket will cause that.
It could be some things new. Not by the mechanic.

Good luck

SOURCE: changing fuel filter on 2004 chrysler town and country

  1. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Negative battery cable
  2. Raise the vehicle and support the fuel tank with a transmission jack.
    • Fuel line from the front of the tank
    • Ground strap
    • Inboard side of the fuel tank straps and front T strap fastener and lower the tank about 6 inches
    • Fuel lines from the fuel pump module
    • Fuel filter
  3. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the fuel filter bolts to 40 inch lbs. (4.5 Nm), the main tank straps to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm) and the T strap to 250 inch lbs. (28 Nm).
  4. Start the engine and check for leaks.

SOURCE: low speed fan relay for the 2005 chrysler town and country

If you are talking about the cooling fan relay for the radiator there is no low speed and high speed relay. There is only one relay and it is behind the grill revitted to the bumper rail. It is doesnt look like you typical relay.

2002 chrysler town & country. wont change out of low gear.

I'd check fluid as required by Owner's manual no manual? Try MFG website or email their customer service, or try
manualslib.com
Otherwise you may need professional inspection to save the transmission. Also could be bad linkage and or bushings on the linkage to the transmission. Could be a similar problem with the shift lever itself, or an adjustment problem.

2003 town & country wont go into drive

If fluid and filter hasn't been changed then I would definately try that first. BE SURE, they replace fluid with MOPAR only from dealer. Chrysler transmissions are very particular about fluid, even though mechanic will tell you it's all the same, it isn't. Seen it happen time and time again where transmission acts up after fluid change of "same stuff", different brand. Then added cost of changing fluid again to MOPAR and all was well.

I have a 2002 chrysler town & country just clicks when you turn the key

I just had the same problem. I had the transmission fixed 2 weeks ago and got into my car yesterday and it wouldn't start. it made the same sound and my battery was fine. A friend I know told me to check the wire to the starter. it is in the middle of the engine at the bottom front. he said they frequently do not push it all the way back on after repairs. my connection was actually broken. on the chrysler the connection is a push connection and most other cars it is a bolt. this could be your problem.
