My cd player plays well, but the eject button does not eject the cd's. I have to use two kitchen knives to pull the cd out of the player. I also have to push the cd into the proper spot with the fingers, but again, it plays really well.

We always just recommend replacing the radios at this point. Someone may know how to repair it, but its easiest to replace. Your best bet would be to find a used CD player from a salvage yard. Replacing with a stock radio isn't hard, but you will have to have a dealership program it to your vehicle before it will work.

CD Wont Eject & Mode Wont Go to "CD MODE"

I suspect that the rubber belt that drives the eject portion of the unit has broken. I suggest you remove the unit and have an teckie look at it. belts are available for most makes from tandy or other electronic parts shops.

My 5 disc CD changer will not eject an hung CD , on an Infiniti 2005 G35,..any solutons???

Some CD players actually have a locking mechanism inside of them. This mechanism can be released by using an unwound paperclip and sticking it into the CD player. There should be a button or platform to push that could release the disk. If that doesn't work, you might want to try using a pair of tweezers to pull the disc. To do this put the tweezers inside the CD tray and try to pull the disc out while pressing down and holding the eject button on the CD player. To me, it sounds like the motor that sucks in and ejects the disc is slowly dying and is having trouble pushing the disc out. If all else fails you might want to take the car to a dealership to see if they can replace your CD player

2004 lexus RX330. CD player has 6 cd's in it. Has one cd in it. Will not play or eject. Error 4

Something inside the cd player has broken and can most likely be sent off for repair but I don't know how much that would cost, but a new one can range anywhere from $500-$1,000.

How to remove a stuck cd in cd player of 2004 pontiac grand prix

I've used my technician tweezers to get them out before, I'm unfamiliar with that particular model, but if you can see the disk is straight inside the opening level with the insert slot it should be do able. Just don't force anything to much, if the spindle is up in the player it might not be possible as the hole in the center of the cd would have the spindle to spin the disk inside it. As long as it's a clean shot to the disk it should be fine to turn key on and try the eject while pulling with tweezers. A couple of butter knives might even work if you can use them somewhat like chop sticks. Hope this helps.

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ a single disc CD player...which has not been working for several months. There is a cd in the player but nothing happens when I press the eject button nor the CD button; won't...

Possible that the cd disc has jammed due to a change in the disc- warming can bend some cd's, also if the cd is struck inside as the loading mechanism is struck. In both cases the set must be pulled out if there is no hope with trying to retrieve the cd softly assisting while ejecting. If you do not hear any noise while the eject is pressed then the loading drive is faulty , you need to remove the cd , open to check, If this is mechanical then you can softly push the cd out, if not the electonic section needs a check.

2004 FORD F-150 CD EJECT ERR

I've had this happen once before..CDR's are a little bigger than regular cd's.Sometimes they wont let go at all..You either can undo the battery and then reconnect then it usually automatically ejects or you'll have to manually do it or you can pull the fuse and then put it back in and the same proceedure..
