A couple of weeks ago, my tag lights went out. Wasn't the bulbs, so my dad ran a hotwire from a tail light to the tag lights to keep them on. A couple days ago, my AC stopped working. Not blowing any air at all, cold or hot. Lastnight, I got in my car and none of my dash lights are coming on. Any idea what's causing this?

The dash lights take a feed from the tail circiut, may be a corroded connector, pinched wire somewhere. The blower problem likely not related, maybe bad blower motor or resistor.

Where is the fuse for tag lights on 88 chevy c1500 silverado

There is not a separate fuse. The tag light is powered off of the tail lights. If you have tail lights but no tag lights your problem is either bad tag light bulbs or the connections between the tail lights and the chassis ground at the tag light bulb sockets.

2000 Acura 3.5 RL suddenly has no tail lights or tag lights. Brake, reverse and blinker all work. Checked fuses-all appear fine. Decided to replace bulbs and noticed front right marker light out so changed...

The only thing that both the brake lights and tail lights use is a ground connection. Keep in mind the warning light on the dash may be for any exterior lamp. You may need to check the sockets and grounds on all four corners of the car.

I have a silverado 1500 my driver's side rear tail, brake and turn signal is not working. This started before the check engine light came on. I went to replace the bulbs, but the bulbs were not bl

These are not related issues. The problem is a really common one. Most likely the circuit board is bad. I sell about 4 a week for these trucks. You can pick them up for around $20 at your local parts store.

My brake lights work but my tail lights and reverse lights don't work. Also my dash lights quit when I changed the switch for my headlights.

Check your fuses. I had the same problem with a 90 Honda civic. Dash lights went out, tail lights also went out. Replaced 1 fuse and all came back on.

About 2 weeks ago my check engine light came turned on so i drove home and told my dad about it but when we turned the car on it did not flash. But the the next 2 days it stayed on and the next morning...

Any time you get any check light, you should
be at a repair in a couple of days, or at least
check for codes. Still need it diagnosed and
repaired in a week

Otherwise you waste gas, polute the air or could
cause some damage,as you don't know what the issue
is that set the light

The fact the check light went out, doesn't mean
the problem went away.

Don't clear any codes you find, their needed to diagnose
the system faults

Tail lights, parking lights and dash lights not working

If signal lights are working, probably a failing headlight switch. Even though fuses seem OK, you can try replacing the appropriate fuse.

Right tail light went out.

I have had the same issue recently. I have a 2002 Gr Cherokee Ltd 4.7L. At first I thought it was the bulb, replaced the bulb to no avail. Then I thought maybe the bulb was rattled loose due to my subwoofer, but that still was not the case. After testing all my fuses I decided to test all of my lights. The hazards worked, back up lights came on, tail and brake lights were all working also but for some reason the blinkers will go out and the right rear brake light will not come on. It always comes back on for me though, so now I just use hand signals when it is temporarily not working. My only suggestion is a problem in the wiring.
