I have a 1991 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue. The brake light is on and brakes are really hard to apply. Did someone bleed this system wrong. The guy I bought it from said he tried to redo the brakes???

Y can't reset the speedometer. Your problem is the electric motor that turns the speedometer needle. I believe yours just pops in and out. But some are soldered. You can get both kinds on line.
sound's like the motor is bad if you have someone turn it on as you stand by to hear the motor kick on would be the best way to know. if it is a good motor it is off track if that's the case turn it on and try to get it with a pair of needle noise pliars and pull it out.
Does the car have ABS? If not then you may have a bad brake booster.
