99 miata, taillights and interior lights not working, other items on the list in the owners manual for the associated fuses are working. replace the interio fuse, swapped the mains with other functioning accessories to test under the hood. Still not working. Need guidance on what it might be and how to fix it.

If the lights work on the switch then you have tested the fuse. The fuse is listed in the owner's manual. Is this problem true for all four (or two) doors? None turn on the interior lights when opened.

It is fairly common on US cars for the taillights and dash to be on the same fuse. This is apparently planned so you would know when you taillights are out. (the manual does not tell you that) If you have a owners manual, find the taillight fuse and it is probably blown.

check the big fuses in the egine compartment

take the cover off the fuse box .. it may display the location of individual fuses on the cover inside as most do.

try refitting bat make sure you have all wires on the connectors, maybe you have blown the bulbs but sounds like a wire somewhaire

I have a problem with my tail lights in my mazda. Brake lights working great but the light that supposed to be working during night time are not. By the way the front lights are working too! Also the light of the panel inside is not working. Can anyone please tell me how to fix it?
