How to change glass on driver side mirrow with heat and remote

If you are talking about the side mirrow they are for the electric motor that adjust the mirrow. Also most are heated and you need wires for that.

call Toyota and ask thim you might need to get the vin# they should give you the info,,,also if you have CERTI FITT near where you live they are the cheepest place,,,,,,IF IT IS ONLY THE MIRROWER THAT IS BROKEN...you can pull the rest of the glass off the frame go to Autozone or Orileys they carry replacement mirrower's for about 12.oo to 18.oo

on some vehicles you can i am not sure about yours.

The problem is a either a brokern ground wire or orange wire between the drivers side body and the drivers side door. This is a common issue with 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee's. It's difficult, but you can pop the rubber boot and check for broken wires. The fix is to re-solder them and tape them off.

on the inside of the door take the pannel off and remove the three nuts on the back side of the mirror. the mirror will then just pull or fall off

1. Position the glass in the full up position.

1. Locate the notch at the bottom of the exterior mirror glass.

1. Release the exterior mirror glass.
   1. Insert a long flat-bladed screwdriver in the notch.
   1. Push the screwdriver into the notch until the glass is released.

Heated mirrors

1. Position aside the exterior mirror glass.

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. Remove the exterior mirror glass (17K707) passenger side or (17T675) driver side.

1. Position the exterior mirror glass on the exterior mirror motor.

1. Place a hand against the back of the exterior mirror housing and a hand flat against the exterior mirror glass. Press the glass in place until fully seated.

sounds like you blew a fuse, check all fuses, that should be your problem. good luck.
