Hello and welcome to FixYa!
As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you replace the transmission fluid. If the fluid is burnt issues like this occurs. Once the transmission fluid is replaced the transmission can work normally again.
If the problem still persists after the transmission fluid replacement then the fault can be on the TCM (transmission control module). The TCM is like a brain of the transmission that when it is faulty it won't engage in gears or it may engage in gear but won't move at all. If that's the case, you will need a TCM replacement to resolve the problem.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

The fuel guage on my 2005 F250 super duty 6 liter diesel engine just went to zero and has 3/4 of a tank of fuel any assistance on where to check for a damaged wire or loose connection

wiring harness under dash.
wires coming off top of fuel tank.
check all fuses.
do you do a lot of off roading - you may have cut or pulled a wire out.
finally you may have:
1. a bad fuel tank sending unit - need to drop the tank to replace.
2. a bad fuel gage.
3. a bad instrument panel

2001 f250 diesel supercab transmission works good when cold but after you drive for about 4 or 5 miles & stop it will not shift properly & seems to slip except in d1 truck has 190k is full of oil

ok, if it's full of oil, but hasn't been flushed every 30k mi. then I would have the service performed for the transmission.

It may cost about $100 or more to do this.

If, however, the slippage doesn't go away, you're looking at another transmission, or a rebuild which is fairly costly, in the thousands.

Hope you can fix this problem economically.

I have a 2001 ford f250 powerstroke diesel was driving and transmision started to slip drove about 3 miles and now wont move forward at all but reverse works fine

Some of the Ford transmissions actually have an aluminum gear which will go out somewhere around 150 to 200 thousand miles. OR it could be really low on transmission fluid.
