Why does the overdrive light on my 1993 suzuki sidekick flash

OD flash means the 4speed, electronically shifted (TCM) is seeing an error, it has flash codes , pull them and see. what they are.

The power wire for my voltage condenser broke off?
try to be more exact. tell the exact place and wire color.
the 93 had 2 engines, 8v and 16v the latter is MPI with 4 injectors the former has 1 injector. which do you have.?

Engine stalling is a second problem.
and can be caused by 50 diffr. things,
but the top #1 is, EGR main , stuck open.
aks on dah bbs. we can work the problem to the end.

When we by pass the relay the car runs but not through the relay. 1993 suzuki sidekick. There is some electrical problem some where?

Yes. Also have them check the wiring that goes to the fuse box, right at the connections. I had that problem with my first Samurai.

If its not the igniter, maybe you forgot to time the engine (timing marks will align at #4 firing poition, not at #1) when you remove the cam shaft.If the engine is not properly timed during assembly, it will not surely fire.

possible open starter motor...with 12 v test lamp, check for 12 v signal to starter solenoid small wire when turning the key.If it lights your starter is open.This is providing your battery is good and charged and the cable is secure to big starter solenoid lug
