Could be a number of things, I'd go with a loose or worn belt , open the hood and rev up the motor, see if the squeal your hearing happens with the car not moving

its tough, thats why mechanics make the big bucks. there's no easy way. One way that will help is if you take the 2 front straps off the radiator support (torque straps) and fashion a way to pull the engine forward, tilting it towards the front.
