It could also be relays, you should have 3, one for each speed. The good news is when you take the inner glovebox out to find the resister which is right on top the heater box you will be looking at the relays. (The resistor is kind of above and behind the relays) The relays are cheap, I bought a box of 10 off Amazon for less than 20 dollars. While you're in the dash I recommend replacing all three relays and the resistor making it like new again. Hope this helps you.

Replace the blower motor resistor located in the blower housing under the dash on the passenger side and you will be good to go.

Front a/c blows cold air but back is blowing hot air

Could be low on freon, a faulty expansion valve on the rear system, or other issues. Can you tell if the rear ac lines are hot and cold ?

My blower fan only works on 3/4/5 settings not 1/2 settings

I would say it is the switch or the resistor.
A mechanic would check for voltage at the resistor on each speed.

Rear ac blowing hot

How does front AC blow? Make sure temp controller for back is set to cold.
You might just need to have your AC serviced.

2001 tahoe front heater not working, rear heater blows warm air

I have the same problem with my 2001 Tahoe. The front blower is working, its blowing strong, but its cold air even with the temp setting as high as it can get. The rear blows hot air. The engine temp guage is at about 210ish which is close to being normal (220). I just replaced the thermostate a few months ago, I don't know if its bad again, or it I deluted the antifreeze too much and it frooze the heater core, or if the heater core just went bad. Any one know what the cause could be?
