My wipers stopped working on my ford windstar van and i can't find the fuse box to see if a fuse is bad

Your owners manual shows the fuse is in underhood fuse box, number 6--30 amp. If you don't have an owners manual you can go to, fleet.ford.com and look at your owners manual.

the wiper fuses / relays are in the top left of the fusebox

Underneath the dashboard on the drivers side. There should be a black cover which covers the fuses Interior Fuse Box Location 1999 2003 Ford Windstar 2001 Ford Windstar...

Why don't you suspect the ignition switch ?

Check your fuse panel for blown fuses first

blown fuse, faulty wiper motor or faulty wiper switch. Possible you got a bad new wiper motor if you replaced everything in the order you wrote it in.

sound like bad connection at vechicle speed sensor.or sensor is bad itself.

I can't help with the chimes, but as far as the awful smell, try changing the cabin air filter. It's under the hood on the passenger side. Close to the wipers up near the firewall is a rectangle cover about an inch thick and about 12-15" long. Inside is a filter. It's very easy to remove and replace, and this fixed the funky smell in my van immediately.

The rear wiper fuse number is 24 in the passenger compartment fuse box.

All these systems are controlled by the GEM, that is the Generic Electronic Module, have Kragen run a quick test and see if the system has codes, but most likely the Module is defective, it is located on top of the fuse panel to the left of the steering column. I have 30 years as a Ford tech so I am pretty darn sure of this diagnose.
