I have a 2001 Chrysler 300m... And after a few minutes of driving the transmission will do like it's stuck in second gear until I park the car and cut it off and start it again... it'll work fine for a few minutes again then do the samething... anyone knows what this problem is?...

The shifter needs to be inspected. The shifter assembly is got misaligned, it has to be open and realign.

There are many other possibilities. But if it was working right up till now and suddenly this occurred then its shifter assembly alignment issue.

could be a selector failure. easiest to check first or internall drama with torqu converter ,one way clutch or other. these will require r@r n overhaul

All the parts you listed are internal to the transmission. The cable is external - it runs from the shifter lever to the range selector lever on the transmission. Their analysis doesn't sound right though. If the cable is broken, the shifter should move freely as you described. But that (broken cable and bent lever) happened AFTER the problem of the transmission being stuck in reverse. Your efforts to unstick probably bent the shifter and broke the cable. It would seem something was jammed before you tried to get out of reverse, possibly inside the transmission.

The dash registration should not be considered what gear you really are in. The detent should be at the transmission itself, so jiggle the shifter to make sure you really are in gear at the transmission.
Then have either the shift linkage or the dash indicator cable adjusted to be accurate.

But whether or not your transmission is working right or not we can't tell. If you are going by the dash indicator instead of the transmission detents, you could be between gears, which would be bad.
If done for long, it ruins the transmission.
But to tell you need to check the fluid.
If it is still pink and does not smell burned, you are probably ok. And make sure it is not low.

the chrysler transmissions go into a default setting and stay in second gear when there is a governor or governor pressure sensor problem,if you keep driving it that way..u might need a trans,u should have it scanned for trans codes and see what you come up with,the rams were the biggest offenders when it came to this problem,either a turbine sensor code or a govenor solenoid or pressure sensor problem,hope this helps
