Thats not how it works. The blower motor has power and the switch GROUNDS the cicuit through the blower resistor (lower speeds) or directly (high speed) Check for power at the blower motor BLACK/LIGHT GREEN is POWER. BROWN/YELLOW is ground. If you have power and ground but the motor doesnt work, then its bad. If you rap on it and it works for a while, its bad. If there is no power at the switch, the motor is bad.

2011 Toyota 4 runner Passenger power window quit

If it's the only window that isn't working it has nothing to do with the fuses. You do not have a separate fuse for each window. If the power window fuse was removed and not placed back into the correct slot, all of your windows would not work. I would start at the window switch and see if you have power to the switch, then move on down the circuit to find the issue. If you end up with the motor getting power when you activate the switch, but nothing happens replace the motor.

Heater fan not operating

Most of the time when a heater blower quits working it is the blower switch that fails rather than the motor. Blower switch can be accessed in the dash panel.

A/c and heater fan quit , it was working fine and just quit i checked all fuses all were fine could it be the fan switch?

yes and it possibly could be the motor to check you need test equipment for starters a volty ohmn meter to see if your getting power to the motor and a continuity checker for the switch to see taht it is working properly

1997 jeep wrangler se,fan for a/c and heat quit.all fuses seem good.any other relays or switches jeep have had probs with?

If it only works on Hi, then your resistor is blown. If you can pull the connector to the blower fan and use a voltage tester to find voltage there with the fan switch turned on then it's the blower motor. If there is no voltage there, then its the switch on the dash. Usually the resistor and the switch only die because the blower motor is about to die and is pulling more current then it's supposed to. Change the blower motor too if that's the case.

I am attempting to find a wiring diagram for a 91 new yorker. my heater fan quit and the temp is dropping. i have checked all the fuses and they seem to be ok. not sure what to look for next. any help...

Usualy the electrical problems are not due to wires if the fuse did not burn out. More often it would be a bad fan motor or fan switch. If you have an electrical testor find out if there is power going to the motor by placing the testor leads on both sides of the switch when it is on. This may require you to take the dash appart a little. Or you can short circuit the switch by puting a small wire accross the leads to the switch in order to bipas it. If the fan turns on the motor works and the switch is bad. If you are ok with taking part of the dash appart then you can always attach a battery with leads to the motor directly to see if it works.

Defrost fan quit working.

Check it with a test light or Multimeter for power to blower motor first, with switch on high. If no power to motor, problem is elsewhere. Here's a link that will help you. Click on the pictures to expand.
