Welcome to FixYa.

Unfortunately you will not get free codes anywhere on the Net for Chryslers. Each of these radios has a code that is unique to the radio and its serial number. There is no standard Master code for these radios and the code must be retrieved from a special database. You will need to remove the radio from the dash to find the serial number and part number on a label at the back of the radio.

Once you have obtained these details note them down and go to this site where you can get your code for £7.99. It is the cheapest around and is very accurate with these Chrysler codes. Send them the details and they will email the code back to you. If you go to the Dealer they will charge you £30 for this service and as stated you will not get the code for free on the internet as only a very few people have access to the Chrysler database for these codes.

I need your help! I have a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse and the radio went dead after I changed the battery. the radio information is "MR 337271" and the serial # is "98235158A" Thanks

Most of these cars have a theft protection on them so when you disconnected the battery its possible that it triped the theft protection . and if so there is a code to reset the radio, this code is usually in you owners manual and if not you will have to go to a dealer to have it done. first you need to disconnect battery to stop it then reconnect it and try code again if you don't know it call the ford dealer with your vin number they will give it to you and tell you how to reset your radio.

Battery went down, had to get a boost and now the radio is code locked and I don't have the code to unlock it

You will need he following info from your radio:

Radio serial #

Found on top of vehicles radio. You must remove radio from vehicle in order to retrieve radio serial number.

Some vehicles will have A serial# in the glove box. THIS IS NOT THE RADIO SERIAL# AND MAY NOT BE USED IN ANY WAY TO RETRIEVE CODE!
We ask that you not send us this number, as it will only delay your code retrieval process!
The radio serial# is found ONLY on vehicles radio chassis.

SECTION 2.B
ALSO

Radio MR or MB#

(Found on top of vehicles radio. You must remove radio from vehicle in order to retrieve radio serial number).
Number will start with MR or MB. You must include all numbers and letters included in serial#, including "MR or MB". Once you have this info you must go to the dealer and have them run the info into their computers linked to Mitsubishi, this will get the code for your pacticular radio, each radio has a unique anti-theft code.
