I have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 extended cab and I am trying to replace the speakers. I need to take off the rear door panel on the drivers side(the door that does not open)? I have already done the others but cannot figure this door out because it does not open like the other side.

This is an extremely difficult problem you have the biggest issue is the door won't open .I'm guessing you have a key less entry system if so can you hear the motor move for the lock in the door dose it have power dose the window work up and down .
This will tell you if the problem is electrical or mechanical if the motor is bad you will hear nothing if the clip broke or popped off.it will make noise.
Worse case you will have to take the other door apart take a close look at how it works then drill a hole in the broken door from the inside at a spot ware you can talk a screw driver and manually pop the lock open.
Well I didn't say it would be easy but if you look closely anyone could do it.

there is a new style body panel adhesive that makes this job very easy for the home body man this panel needs to be prefit by you make shure it lines up and looks strait then apply the glue on the eges and drive a couple of self tapping screws into it to hold it until the glue dries usually 1 24 hr period after the glue is hard then remove the screws and sand off excess glue and fill the screww holes with spot and glaze putty sand all areas to prepare for next step which is feathering with fibermix and then spot putty prime and paint see the heat from a welding machine is nice to but it warps the panel being put on the glue lasts for years and it doesnt warp panels thanks for using a great resource like fixya

SOURCE: Chevy truck running rough 150,000 miles

Find out why the engine light is coming on, it is the info u probably need to fix the running rough problem. Most auto parts stores will read the codes stored in your trucks computer for free, write them down, and ask what they mean and how to correct the problem. If u need more info, return to this site w/ codes for further help.

SOURCE: 99 silverado 1500 shifts hard after its been driven a while

u need to have the system tested for trouble codes, but u most likely have a defective trans 1-2 shift solenoid. to replace this u will need to pull the trans pan off the solenoids are attached to the valve body, also check the trans connector for water or corrosion.

I need to replace the Passenger rear view mirror on a 2002 Chevy

Use a long flat head screw driver with electrical tape wrapped around it(to prevent scratches). Have some one help you and hold a light so you can see the snaps on the inside, be really nice about it and pry the panel from the door frame.

Broken inside door handle-1996 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab

On almost all GM's there will be a screw in the recess that the handle sits in. After removing this screw, gently wiggle this cup out of it's hole and there should be a metal rod attached to the back of it with a small clip. Unclip this and it's out - installation is the reverse. Just don't lose the clip or let the linkage rod fall down inside or you will have to remove the door panel. It shouldn't take five minutes to replace and most parts stores now carry GM door handle assemblies. Good Luck!
