The car runs fine after it warms up? Is it running with the check engine light off? But it does come on with the key before the engine is started? If the coolant temperture senser is bad ( or disconnected someway) the check engine light will be on but the car might run OK at normal operating tempertures. Have the car checked for codes. It's OBDI so you might have to find a service provider that can ceck the codes on this pre OBDII car. If it turly runs good at normal operating tempertures and the transmission is'nt low on fluild then the coolant senser does'nt always turn the check engine light on if it's bad and still reading something but wrong. Truly running good and the coolant is full ( all the way). chage the senser and see what happens as thier cheap and easy to change with commn hand tools. When I push the gas on my car it won't go past - 654437604.jpg

Hey Ryan,
Doubtful that bad gas is causing anything..you might have "filled up" and gotten a load of water... But it is probably the TPS... if you are not mechanically inclined... take this to a professional... the "riveted on" situation is so you will take it back to the dealer... if the new TPS has the same mounting holes. just carefully remove everything so you can dill out the rivets and use appropriate bolts and nuts and LOCKWASHERS...along with 292 locktite,

2005 Kia Sedona. Recent issues with it overheating. Now car will sart but unless the gas is pushed it won't stay running. Vaccum? Relay? Cooling fan? We can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

did you scan it it can be many things like mass air flow sensor or a emission gas recirculating valve you must get a code from scanner tool.you could also have a bad throttle position sensor which is mounted on side of throttel body

92 SL1 won't idle-wants to die without pushing gas-just put in new plugs

Remove, clean and inspect the idle control valve on the throttle body. These tend to clog up over time, or the stepper motor fails. Check this before anything else.

Sounds like a blockage in the exhaust system. A quick fix at a local garage

Coming to stop sign by putting break gear slips then return to park move to drive runs. second as i drive in curves slips but as give gas enough continues running.

Just to make sure I got this right. If you come to a stop, the car won't pull again unless you put it in park? Then, if you start into a curve, the transmission starts to slip unless you give it more gas? This could be signs of a bad torque converter, failing fluid pump (not as likely), or burnt/low transmission fluid level. Check the transmission fluid after the vehicle has been driven (warm engine), leave it running, and on a level surface. Check the level twice and take the lowest reading.
